DSA plays host to approximately 1750 players (2009/10), aged U6 to U18. This includes 28 boys and 20 girls house teams, and 30 boys and 33 girls divisional teams. Our youngest athletes play 3 aside, then progress through 4, 6, and 8 aside until they play 11 aside at U13. Divisional soccer starts at U11 for boys and girls, when tryouts are used to select players for Gold and Silver teams. At U13, all boys and girls teams play within their respective leagues; girls in the BC Coastal Girls Soccer League (BCCGSL) and boys in District 4.
