Equipment Provided

DSA provides soccer balls, ball bags, pinnies, and cones to all soccer teams at the start of each soccer season. Ball sizes are based on the age of the players;

U6 to U10: a regulation size three (3) soccer ball shall be used

U11 and U12: a regulation size four (4) soccer ball shall be used

U13 to U18: a regulation size five (5) soccer ball shall be used

It is suggested that the team name or contact name be written on the team balls and cones to help identify them.

Equipment Distribution and Return

Equipment for House League teams is collected and returned to the Equipment Manager at the end of each soccer season in March of each year. U11 and older Divisional team coaches may choose to keep their balls, pinnies and cones for use the following year, subject to returning undersize balls when the team moves to the next size ball.

Field Equipment

Nets and corner flags are kept at the regular Dunbar Fields. Some fields also have small portable goals for house league. See list below for box locations and contents.

Memorial West- black metal box behind baseball diamond (33rd and Dunbar) nets and corner flags.

Chaldecott- green wooden box behind center baseball diamond. Nets and corner flags (2 sets for both full sized fields).

Carnarvon-black metal box located on Mackenzie chained to outer fence, nets and corner flags.

Trafalgar-black metal box located next to the 8 aside fields, nets corner flags for both 8 asides and full size fields.

Q Elizabeth Grass/Gravel- portable goals in black metal box next to equipment shed. Nets and corner flags for gravel field in large green box (watch the lid, it does not stay up on its own)

Lord Kitchener (Gravel) - green wooden box located corner of 24th and Blenheim. Nets and corner flags.

Southlands (Gravel) - black metal box located at South baseball diamond. Nets and corner flags.

U-hill Secondary- black metal box located at baseball diamond north west corner. Two sets nets and corner flags. Use for u-hill elementary.

Jericho 8 aside (Hostel) - black box located behind baseball on Marine Drive. Nets and corner flags.

Jericho East (full size) - black box located next to tennis courts. Nets and corner flags.

Byng- black metal box, located at baseball diamond close to pool. Portable goals.

Point Grey Turf- two black metal boxes, corner flags (weighted stands). Two sets of 8 aside portable. Larger goals have nets attached. Goals must be returned to North and South ends, please lift the posts. DO NOT DRAG ACROSS RUNNINGTRACK. More detailed procedures to be distributed soon.
