WSPD Spring 2011 and WSPD Small Sided Games 2011
Westside Soccer Player Development training program is open (starting March 24) to all U8 to U12 players interested in a competitive, tiered development program. Player groupings will be based on placing like-minded and like-skilled players together. This will allow each player to train and develop in an environment appropriate to their ability.
WSPD training sessions focus on skill development, teamwork and age-appropriate tactical play. The program is offered by Point Grey, Kerrisdale and Dunbar soccer clubs and is run and administered by their respective Technical Directors. The WSPD training program is offered in the fall, winter and spring.
The cost is $135 for eight 1.5 hour sessions.There is also a $25 kit fee for a WSPD adidas jersey for new players. Returning players with kit do not need to re-purchase.
Players who may be playing up a year should count on playing their natural age group at WSPD. It is very rare that we are not able to provide a competitive training environment for players within their proper age group.
All WSPD sessions for boys and girls will be held at Prince of Wales (PW) Secondary school grass field (southernmost field).
Boys WSPD sessions will be on Mondays starting May 2 and go until June 20 (no session on Monday, May 23 due to the long weekend).

Times:
U8 to U9 (2003 and 2002 born) boys will train from 5:00pm - 6:30pm
U10 to U12 (2001,2000,1999 born) boys will train at 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Girls WSPD sessions will be on Wednesdays starting April 27 and go until June 15 (8 consecutive Wednesdays).

U10 to U12 (2001,2000,1999 born) girls will train at 6:30pm - 8:00pm
All WSPD training times are subject to change based on registration numbers

WSPD Small Sided Games is for U7 to U10 boys and girls looking for a games focused program supported by professional coaching. The focus is on playing with coach support aimed at basic shape, rules of the game and encouraging a high level of activity. The cost is $100 for eight 1.25 hour sessions at Pt. Grey Secondary School artificial turf.
WSPD Small Sided Games will be on Fridays at Pt. Grey Secondary School turf
Times: U7(2004) and U8(2003) boys and girls: 5:15pm to 6:15pm;
U9(2002) and U10(2001) boys and girls: 6:20pm to 7:20pm
Dates: April 29 to June 24 (except May 20 due to long weekend)
Small Sided Games are at Pt. Grey Secondary School.
REFUND POLICY: full refund, minus $10 to cover transaction fees, if applied for in writing (email) before the second session, minus $50 before fourth session; none after this. Training kit is non-refundable.
Dates, times and location subject to change. Space is limited and registration may be capped when age group limits are reached.
WSPD is the player development program of Dunbar Soccer Association, Kerrisdale Soccer Club and Pt. Grey Soccer Club; as such, these clubs, through their Technical Directors with approval from their respective Board of Directors determine the policies that govern WSPD
