tryouts

The House League (U7 to U10) is a non-competitive program that does not involve formal player evaluations or tryouts.

In the Divisional League (U11 to U18) teams play in tiered league. The teams are comprised of players with similar levels of commitment and skill development. Recreational soccer is available for all players, at the Bronze level.

boys soccerEach spring Dunbar Soccer organizes Player Evaluation sessions as input to forming teams for the next season. For the U11 through U15 age groups, evaluations are run by the Technical Director with the help and support of age-group coaches and age-group coordinators. U16 to U18 Evaluations are coach-driven. Coaches in these age-groups are welcome to run their own Evaluations and can opt to involve independent evaluators if they wish.

Detailed Information for U11-U14 Ages

Please read the Evaluation Procedures for your age group. All U11 to U14 Evaluations will use independent evaluators to ensure knowledgeable, objective player evaluations.

A $15 fee is required, to cover the cost of field use and independent evaluators.

Please note that all Dunbar Soccer players wishing to attend tryouts for next season need to register online. Visit the tryout registration page for details and link to the online registration process. Please check here for evaluations DATES and TIMES.

If you wish to play recreational soccer next season you do not need to register for or attend the evaluations. However, you should register for soccer early at your preferred club so coordinators can place you on a Bronze team.
